At the beginning of November the students of HTL Salzburg played a match – via PlayStation 5 on the screen.
E-sports, i.e. the electronic competition with computer games, is a topic that the students deal with not only as a hobby. The HTL Salzburg has the first e-sports school team in Austria, and this is quite successful: “Some of our students are among the top 10,000 players in the world,” says David Obermaier (school spokesman), who organized the tournament together with David Dober.
Sony DADC sponsored the prize money of € 800.
